Nightfall at the ranch brings more than just the lightning bugs.  It's when the land sighs and the dust lays down.  It's when boots come off and the supper table binds us.  For a while, we share stories.  Then we settle into just being together - bone tired - but "good tired".  When my little goddaughter Margaret Nell is here, the house is full of laughter and joy for she is a born entertainer.  Our lives are full because we live on this wild piece of earth called home.   DMergele
